Papa Rowe's Kitchen is a family-owned, and operated business that is the brain-child of Michael Rowe. Michael is the owner, and head BBQ Pitt Master at Papa Rowe’s Kitchen. After 31 years of government service, he is finally pursuing his passion in the culinary arts. This self-taught chef’s specialty is his signature smoked, barbeque chicken, and ribs but there’s no limit to what he can do. Originally from Georgetown, Illinois, as a child growing up, he watched his mother, aunts, and uncles prepare food for family gatherings, which were pretty often. He recalls a family celebration for every holiday in addition to their annual family reunion. Now, as a thirty-plus year resident of Southern California, he has refined his skills and tries to emulate those memories with his family and friends. Rowe takes great pride and pleasure in preparing exquisite cuisine and watching the satisfaction of someone enjoying their first bite.
